KALE WITH NUTS

Like some relationships, foods have synergies! When you combine some ingredients they make the nutrients easier to absorb. This is the case with carotenoids, phytonutrients in Kalette and the good fat in cashew nuts. Also, it is a great source of vit K, folate, vit C, carotenoids, fiber, iron, magnesium and zinc.


Ingredients:

- A clove or two of garlic

- Extra virgin olive oil

- Kalette

- Raw cashews


Method:

Sauté a clove or two of garlic in extra virgin olive oil.

Add the washed and cut kalette and leave it for 2-3 minutes covered with the pan lid to create vapour and cook it a bit.

Add the raw cashews and enjoy!!
